About Finchley College
Finchley College is a specialized construction institution dedicated to training the engineers and managers of tomorrow. Engineering Surveying Courses
ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying
This qualification is suitable for individuals who are experienced surveyors capable of collecting survey data to create accurate maps or engineering surveyors who can set out designed data from plans. The diploma requires the completion of five mandatory units:

Diploma in Engineering Surveying for existing engineers to achieve CSCS gold Engineers Surveyor card

Learners must be working on-site with a minimum of 2 years of site experience. Training and assessment will take place over 6 days at the college as well as a site visit by one of our assessors.

Engineering Surveying training for Beginners, graduates, assistants, and junior engineers
We offer three options to learners with little or no site engineering or surveying experience, some with added courses to improve learners' skills and employment prospects.
What you will be learning
All courses below will train you in the use of Total stations, both manual and robotics as well as GNSS, automatic, laser, and digital levels. Each course will offer you extended and more detailed training with an emphasis on the ability to work on your own independently.
All courses are for two to three month duration with certification subject to the satisfactory completion of all assessment criteria

10-morning sessions on the first three weekends of each month for two months from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm.

Beginners to advanced Engineering Surveying: Fee £2995

This course will prepare you to work as a junior engineer or a surveyor

Duration: 15 weekend training sessions over three months. or

You will have comprehensive training in setting out, surveying, and learning to use all Total Station programs, at the end of the course your will gain a Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying and can apply for a gold Engineer surveyor card.

Beginners to enhanced Engineering Surveying: Fee £3695

Duration: 18 Weekend sessions over three months followed by a further one day a month of revision and practice if necessary.
