A practical introduction to engineering surveying and setting out, ideal for beginners and graduates who want to gain confidence using industry-standard equipment and receive CITB approved certificates.

Beginner to Advanced Course

Become Site-Ready as a Setting Out Engineer

​

This is our most popular course, providing the full skillset required to work competently on construction sites.

You’ll Gain. This course continus throughout the year, without any half term or summer breaks. 

 

Learners are advised to register 2-4 weeks in advance to study the theory part of the course at home and submit draft assignments before joining practical element at the college. The principles of surveying, setting out and levelling are taught again at the college but prior reading and the use of course notes will help with better understaning and achieveing a higher standard of engineering skills, it also helps with preparation for the course and meets the awarding body minimum study period of 160 hours.

Duration: 10-12 days

• A block of 9 consecutive days plus an an optional extra weekend (offered once every two months)

• or three weekends in one month and two weekend the next. Get an extra weekend free when fees are paid in full in advance.

Fee: £2245 plus VAT (£2695), we offer a 5% discount for payment in full 2 weeks in advance and an extra 2 days

Beginner to enhanced level course:

This course is intended for those changing career into construction engineering with no prior experience in construction. It provides double training time and extra short courses

• AutoCAD

• CAA approved certificates as well as awarding body qualifications in Drone use for commercial operations

• First Aid at Work

• How to work as a site and setting out engineer, quality assurance, construction drawings, 

• Construction processes,

Gain a Qualification & CSCS Gold Card

Designed for professionals already working on-site without formal qualifications.

The Diploma in Engineering Surveying is CSCS-approved, enabling applicants to apply for the Gold CSCS Engineer Surveyor Card.
