Finchley College ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying
Finchley College was recommended to me as a very good option for doing and completing a ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying. I found the tutors excellent and very helpful; they made the learning experience both interesting and pleasant. All equipment required for video evidence was provided by the college; the tutors were very patient in explaining how to operate the equipment to anyone unfamiliar with it. I would highly recommend Finchley College to anyone wanting to pursue its courses.

Pawel Setting out engineer
I did ProQual NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Surveying for engineers when I had a gap between two projects. I spent this time really extensively learning/refreshing surveying techniques.
The course covers practical training sessions as well as the theoretical aspects of surveying. I’m glad I attended Finchley College for my course, and now I’m able to get a gold card for an engineering surveyor. This should help me get more work opportunities.
You don’t need to be afraid if English isn't your first language. The teacher is amazing and has the patience to explain the easiest way, even difficult knowledge.
I recommend this course for everyone who wishes to develop surveying skills as a beginner, as well as for existing engineers. I have 10 years of experience as a setting out engineer, and I still learn a lot.
I want to give special thanks to Mr. Reza, our teacher. He was brilliant, knowledgeable, and always professional.

I recently completed the Engineering Surveying course at Finchley College, and it was a fantastic experience. The course was well-organized and very practical, with plenty of useful information.
I want to give special thanks to Reza, our teacher. He was brilliant, knowledgeable, and always professional. He explained everything clearly, made even the difficult parts easy to understand, and gave us real-world examples to help us learn. He was also very approachable and happy to answer any questions we had.

ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying
I would like to share my experience and recommendations. In 2024, I completed my engineering course at Finchley College and earned my NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Surveying and Engineering.
Although I have been working in engineering for the past ten years, I needed a formal qualification. I already knew most of the concepts, but I still learned new techniques with the help of Reza and the college team. I am very happy with the instructor and the team’s experience, knowledge, and friendliness.
I highly recommend attending Finchley College for your training. I have taken other courses in the past, but Finchley College’s training is the best and provides in-depth learning across all engineering and surveying subjects. After completing the course, you will be more confident to work independently. Additionally, upon completing the course, you will be eligible to apply for a professional SCCS cold card, a benefit no other training provider offers.

I'm really happy with my experience at Finchley College. The tutors are great—knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about surveying. I was fortunate to have 1-2-1 training which meant I got the best possible training. The course was mix of theory and practical which was super useful.
Reza has a wealth of knowledge that has literally taken a life time to accumulate and I am really grateful for the help and transfer of some of that knowledge.

Survey Engineering Beginners to Advanced Course. I have received a high level ( probably Best possible in London) of education with flexible time, supportive and helpful attention in each step of the learning process. The college provides variety of learning materials and aids, conducts relevant theoretical and practical exercises, introduction in best survey and setting out techniques. Best College for set-out Engineers
I came across Finchley College on their YouTube channel, where they've put free lecture videos. I decided to join the college and was greeted by friendly, knowledgeable staff. The program was flexible and adjusted for my learning needs. I was provided with online videos and ebooks, enough to cover all aspects needed to become a set-out engineer. Arguably, I was offered more study material than the UNI I paid for. Having a professor so passionate about their work gave me the confidence to ask even the most trivial questions to become a better engineer. All students are welcome to drop by any time after graduation to ask questions they may face in the field throughout their careers as engineers. I can't remember any other school I've attended that welcomes past students like that. To me, this is a big plus and a thumbs-up for Finchley College.

Excellent place for a construction career progress
I first attended Finchley College in 2019, and within this period, I have been able to achieve 2 qualifications (NVQ Level 3 & 6) and numerous subsidized courses while working full-time and being a new father, thanks to flexible learning programs, affordable and feasible payment plans, and excellent tutoring I received from Mr. Reza.

Excellent course! I studied with many colleagues from different backgrounds who managed to learn and understand the job at a decent level in short time. I am more than happy that i picked this college for my education, i received recently my graduation diploma and applied straight away for my gold CSCS card. I have been working in construction for 10 years, and I decided to attend Finchley College to become a setting-out engineer.
They have great teachers who will provide everything that you need to learn from books to surveying equipment and unlimited support and flexibility, which allowed me to fit the course around my work, which was very important
I was able to complete the course within 3 months and have enjoyed the time doing the course.

Best college for Engineering & Surveying
I'm happy to choose Finchley College London for my ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Engineering and Surveying. I gained more knowledge of how to use the engineering equipment with full details and how to use it on the actual site. I'm a postgraduate in construction project management. After completing my master's, I don’t know how to use engineering equipment, that’s why I googled and found out about different colleges. However, when I read the course content provided by Finchley College, most of the colleges did not provide that they cover all aspects of the study, which is why I chose this college, and I'm happy with my decision to gain a lot of knowledge and good experience.

It's a really great college. I'm doing my ProQual NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Surveying.
The teachers are very professional and try their best to make you understand the subject. If a student struggles in some areas, the teacher always tries to put in extra effort to help him learn or better understand them.
Apart from theory, there are lots of practical exercises. You get comprehensive training and understanding of working with Leica Total Stations, dumpy levels, laser levels, digital levels, and GNSS.
Also, it is easy to get to - just a few minutes' walk from Finchley Central Station.
