Traversing will help you to create or check an existing control system for construction sites.  It involves setting up Total stations over points on the gound and measuring internal angels and distances between them, then checking for errors and working out their coordinates.

In this One day course you will take measurements and apply corrections using an excel program.

You will learn to set up a Total station over a point and carry out angle and distance measurements, then checking for errors, setting station coordinates and changing them if necessary to given global coordinates based on Ordnance survey coordinates.

Course fee: £295 plus VAT (£354)
