Finchley College specialises in offering engineering surveying and management courses, you will be registered with the awarding body and upon successful completion of the course you can apply for a gold CSCS engineer surveyor card. This course is ideal for beginners, graduates and existing engineers seeking qualification. We offer a comprehensive training to transform learners from beginner to competent engineer standard from as little as 12 to 24 days. Our courses are alternative to a university degree, in fact lots of graduates attend the college to learn what they should have learned at the university.
With over 30 years of experience, we have successfully trained more than 1,200 engineers and managers who are now employed across the UK and internationally. Our nationally and internationally recognized qualifications enable learners to apply for CSCS gold engineer surveyor or black manager cards. Many of our graduates have used their credentials to secure residency permits and start new careers and lives abroad.

Beginners to advanced level

A comprehensive training to transform beginners from any background into junior engineer/surveyor level within 8 weeks

Surveying, setting out techniques, establishing site controls when none are given, levelling by automatic, laser and digital levels, two peg test for calibaraing instruments, GNSS

Graduate training program
Training program for graduates to improve your skills and employment prospects
Extensive Total Station and setting out training.
Learn to use Robotic Total stations and GNSS to set out and survey construction sites and topographic surveys
Duration: 5 days
Beginners to enhanced level
Full Engineering Surveying training plus extended training period and extra subjects to improve your chances of employment
Topics include
Beginner to advanced level subjects plus;
AutoCAD, REVIT, First Aid at Work, Site engineering techniques, Introduction to BIM, learning to fly drones for personal and commercial use.
