Please take a few moments to read our terms and conditions of service, if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact us.

 

Training Location:

Training courses are held at our offices including outdoor practice area at Central House, 1 Ballards Lane, London N3 1LQ

 

Course hours:

Full time courses are for duration of one to two weeks, usually held once every month or more often subject to demand. We need a minimum of 2 students to run the one week full time course, (Mon-Fri 1.30 – 6.30 pm)  so please do not book a hotel or make travel arrangements until you have received confirmation of your booking. Exact dates and times will be advised at least 48 hours before start of the course.

 

Weekend courses:

The college is open most Saturdays except bank holiday weekends and last Saturday of each month. A variety of courses are offered on Saturdays from computing to Construction setting out and site surveying and management courses. For lecture time table please contact us.

 

Distance learning:

The course fee for distance learning courses includes a course book as well as visit by tutor at the start of the course for students who live within 50 miles of London. We can hire surveying equipment subject to to a refundable deposit and weekly hire charge, students require access to use of a Total station in order to complete their course. We will provide you with exercise sheets to practice use of a total station and automatic level at home or work. We provide manuals for Sokkia, Top con and Leica total stations.

 

Your chances of employment after completion of training:

We cannot guarantee work after completion of your course. This depends on your educational and employment background and previous site experience; we offer short and long term courses to ensure you will have enough training to become a fully competent engineer.

 

We are in contact with several recruitment agencies and can provide you with genuine references and certificate of training and competency as a junior engineer or competent engineer if you pass a competency test at the end of your course.

 

Engineering students receive a City & Guilds unit certificate at grade Pass, merit or distinction depending on the quality of their portfolio

 

Refund Policy:

There are no refunds under any circumstances once a payment has been made. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you make sure you are able to afford the course fee and can start and finish it. Please note by payment of course fee you are indicating that you have read terms and conditions and have agreed to them.

 

Payment by instalment:

We no longer offer payment by instalment. All payments must be made in full in advance.

 

Booking deadline:

Please book and pay at least one week in advance unless we have agreed otherwise.
